Here is the updated polling data for the GOP Primary race. The horizontal axis is not linear, as polls in 2009 should not be treated as equal as polls now, as we end 2011 and start the beginning of the primary season.
I have also removed candidates like Palin, Giuliani, Trump and Pawlenty — which is why the earlier polls do not even add to 50%, as Palin was the leading candidate at the Inauguration. If a new candidate emerges, I will add include their data.
It made sense to keep the chart clean, and keep it to declared candidates — as even with that it still looks quite busy.
